Interior Restoration
The interior was rough and brown like everything else on this car... I chose Duplicolor as our interior sponsor and got to work!
I started off by painting the Cargo Bay
And After
I thought the dash would be tough but the P.O. attached some dash cap with caulking to the original dash.
Ewww...
I was able to get the dash cap out in one piece so it made it much easier to paint!
The passenger compartment took a lot longer to paint compared to the cargo area...
Before
And After!
Overall very pleased with the results for $50 worth of paint and an afternoon's worth of work!!

A New Day, A New Direction, the Same Blog
Much has happened since we last met/spoke. Earlier this winter an E36 M3 was purchased by myself and Stuart with the hopes of turning it in to a racecar. This was not a good idea. The M3 was ruined and it was quickly sold on. We took our money and found a great 944 that was much better mechanically than the M3, but it looks just terrible. In the next few months we hope to bring this car back and have it looking good. I introduce to you the new ride, 50 Shades of Brown:

Saturday Destination Picked Out!!
After an exhaustive search that took atleast 20 minutes, the Saturday Destination Committee has chosen Ainsley's Harbor Cafe as our Saturday lunch/happy hour destination. Its a cool, independent restaurant with great views of Brookville Lake. Furthermore, there are miles of great country roads to enjoy on our way to and from Ainsley's. Pics and a link below:

A New Chariot has Arrived!!
While it may not be German, a new beast has joined the fleet. Please welcome the VERY Blue Miata to the Blog. It was picked up last night by myself and Stu. We found it sitting on the side of a barn at diesel truck wholesaler. The price was too good to turn down. Welcome to the fleet, Miata.

Moving Along Nicely
Hey there friends! Plans for this summer's meet-up are going along well. I'm working with some local places for the Saturday drive as well as some other stuff. It looks like a lot of people from the local Cincy region will be there, which is awesome. It should be a good mix of BMW, VW, and Audi cars. Keep checking in as we firm up our plans and the un-official official schedule. Thanks.
